Sampling Development

1/5/2014

I have decided to add to my sampling to create the back drop for my boards. Using grease proof paper as a subtle material to print onto,  I have used this because of how my prints sit on the material. It is light and effective, creating a soft back drop for the rest of my samples. To create this effect I had to layout my berries onto the  grease proof paper and then add another layer on top. I then pressed it under the heat press for about 40 seconds, this is because if the berries are left under the heat press to long they begin to burn. After completing these final few samples, I decided to lay all the grease proof samples that I have out, and choose the best ones to use as my back drop. I have also started to see how they would look by hanging them up on the boards in the studio.
